They have a shallow team for a 'contender' I find, seeing a 3rd line type like Dupuis on Crosby's line constantly is a crime against hockey. Then you have an open spot on the Malkin-Neal line that they can't fill. Paul Martin not living up to the expectations has really hurt their D.

Kind of puzzled by Shero's 2012 off-season, he went all in for Parise by dumping Michalek and Staal's money...and did absolutely nothing else once he lost out.
Due to Ray Shero we may never find out how great Crosby truly is.

I still can't believe a team with only one above average winger drafted Derrick Pouliot over Forsberg.
LOL.

Leafs Fans?

Why they all the time making digs at Hab Fans? Jealousy?

On Facebook...before every Leaf game its always the Habs jokes from Leafs fans I know. I don't know why because best Leafs done in their lifetime after Ken Dryden and Pat Burns migrated there from Montreal. Bought that organization a touch of class.

If anything you would think they be grateful to us!!!

Wonder if we could swap him and Kaberle. Might be rejuvenated with a change of scenery.

Dallas sportscaster Bob Sturm thinks Brenden Morrow is going downhill and believes the Stars are unhappy with the left winger's performances so far this season.
In an online chat, Sturm said: "I think we have to ask the question about whether or not Brenden still has much in the tank. His first four games indicate that he might be on the back nine of his career. Of course, with no camp, maybe he just needs time, but at his salary, you can bet the team is looking at him and asking for more.

I'd take the risk.

I'd take the risk.

Where would he fit though? This team is pretty set at LW and that's without Eller in the lineup. He's better off going to a contender.

If the team trades a player, they should try and get futures, not declining vets.

Morrow > Bourque?

It doesn't sound like it anymore, not with the way Bourque is playing right now. At least when he's not scoring he's playing solid two-way hockey and PK. I don't think Morrow brings that anymore.

Pass.

Faksa is hurtin' this year. 7-19-26 in 32 games OHL.

Not just that, but he projects to be a similar player to Eller. What would be the point? If you're going to trade Eller, do it for a different kind of player, not just a younger version of him.

Is Morrow still the captain in Dallas?

I remember last year, the Stars fans were extremely unhappy with him. Lazy and always takes stupid penalties. That's not captain material. Lucky that's he's canadian, we don't hear much about it.

Since when could O'Byrne fight without embarrassing himself?

Stupid fight though, that was a clean hit. I hate fights like this.

O'B just beat the **** out of Stuart for a questionable hit on Landeskog. Looked like a hit to the head to me despite what the commentators are saying.
