how is stubhub for purchasing tickets? If I buy a pair for sunday will I get it in time/ exactly what I paid for?
I thought Yakupov's celebration was awesome and fun to watch. I want more players to celebrate like that. It's fun and shows personality, IMO. I see nothing wrong with it whatsoever.
I mean, if it's 7-0 and you score a goal to make it 7-1, yeah, don't celebrate like that. Same with the team that's leading 7-0 and they score 8-0, but in the right circumstances - it's fine. He tied the game with less than five seconds remaining.

I love it when our players celebrate goals. I loved Yakupov's celebration. The kid is in his first NHL season, 2 goals in 3 games, and had a goal refused. All the meanwhile, getting chirped by quick. Good way celebration.

I thought it was pretty over the top and silly, but I'm not letting it ruin my life the way some people on the main board are
It's almost like Yakupov found all the personality that Ovechkin lost (or that was beaten out of him by the media after being in the NHL for so long)
Exactly my thought. A bit over the top and so reminiscent of Ovechkin.
Sometimes, the problem with this kind of player is that if they lose this personality or enthusiasm, their whole game/performance suffers more, compared that of guys who are more cool (cool as in "iceman").
And when you are "show off" like that, you better be ready to face the music against the opponent because some of them will probably be ticked off by this antic.
I so not agree with the comparison and the explanation why hockey isn't more popular in the States.
NBA and MLB celebrations are about the same as in the NHL in terms of "showing off" (for lack of a better word). C'mon now.

I can't believe how many people are against goal celebrations.
Why can't the players be more boring?
Why can't they just walk to the bench after every goal and not smile? Why can't they just tell reporters that they're content (not happy) that they're giving 110% paid off?
Some of you would prefer the NHL is every single player was taking lithium supplements.

No they are not the same, do you watch sports? It's not even close, it got so bad in football they had to make new rules, they were pulling cell phones out of their sock, people ate it up. Hockey is miles and miles behind, NHL players are looked at as boring, i've read it many many times. Look at the stuff that's going on with Evander Kane right now, he shaved something in his head and put a pic on twitter and people are going nuts, look at a football roster loads of guys with stuff shaved in their heads, look at the raptors amir johnson few weeks ago he had the raptors logo shaved into the back of his head, people love this stuff, people love personalities that's the age we live in. Hockey "people" are so far behind that they don't even realize it

Just based on the examples you mentionned about how MLB and NBA players celebrate, they are not that much far off from how NHL players celebrate.

If we could get any young promising forward like Yakupov or Hall or Eberle, etc, I'd honestly be okay with trading Subban. I know Subban is very valuable and we could definitely use him on our team, but a forward like Yakupov would be amazing. I'd love a 3rd line of Yakupov-Galchenyuk-Gallagher... I doubt they'd be the 3rd line for much longer.
I know Yakupov and Gallagher are both RW but I assume one of them could switch to LW.

I'm still not convinced of Couturier's offensive upside, and if we want a third liner chased out of town for not scoring 50 points without any PP time, we have Eller for that role.

Dougie Hamilton already looks very good. I hate to say it, but he's the real deal.
The Leafs have basically ensured the Bruins dominate the NE for the next decade.
And people want us to chase out our stud defenseman.
Hamilton is a poor man's Fowler.
I can see Bruins fans turning on him for not using his size, but that's crazy. His offensive instincts for his age are unreal.
He doesn't look like a Chara successor though, so there's some optimism there.

"A very good chance we’ll see him tomorrow," Sharks coach Todd McLellan said. "We’ll get a health update tomorrow on the roster. He had a good practice today. We used him in some different situations in practice, so he should feel a little more comfortable. We’d really like to see what he’s going to do." Gomez got some ice time on the Sharks' second power-play unit. That's encouraging, but he might also start the season on one of San Jose's bottom two lines.
