I am trying very hard to keep a level head about this but I really don't like it.

Pros:
$25 million is a lot of money for a WR and while the Titans aren't in "cap hell" that kind of money would have made things tight.

AJ has had some injury issues. Too early to call him injury prone, but definitely something to be concerned about.

With the run on WRs that happened last night, we grabbed the last of the 1st round talent and essentially replace AJ with AJ 2.0

Cons:
AJ Brown was the best WR the Titans have had in the last 20 years and arguably in franchise history.

AJ Brown is an elite WR in today's NFL.

When you have elite talent, you have to keep them.

Treylon Burks player comp by most "experts" is AJ Brown, but there is 0 guarantee that he is able to produce on the level that AJ did.

I'll be the first to admit I'm not a crazy Titans fan. I watch the games and keep up with what is going on but it is 3rd behind hockey and college football.

So with that in mind I feel like this is a deal where you won't really know if it's good or bad for a bit. It will depend on how the picks do, what they do with the cap they don't use, and really what AJ does in Philly. I do get the fans going nuts over it though.

He apparently said he would have stayed for 22, but I gotta be real honest that I'm not sure how much I believe it. He wants at least 22, they are willing to give him 16-20 from what has been reported. I kind of feel like there could have been some common ground there so I kind of believe he was holding onto that 25 number a heck of a lot harder than he was willing to admit.

I think he probably could have gotten a firm 20 out of them but part of me wonders if they didn't make another offer because he kept saying 25 so they didn't think it was worth messing with and traded him.

So apparently some more details on the Brown trade have started to leak out. Apparently they did get him up to 20 million flat and he proceeded to cut off talk for 3 weeks. When he did finally come back with a counter he demanded more than the 25 million he originally asked for and when the Titans said no he asked for a trade.

So there may be more to it than they just wanted to be cheap.

Nashville SC had one great debut today first non Premier League or World Cup game I have watched in it’s entirety in years.
Then I turned over and watched the last 5 minutes of the Grizzlies game I forgot the NBA still jumped circle for the held ball situations I hadn’t seen that happen in a long time either.

That was a kick in the pants, but should be a fantastic series. Grizz matchup with the Warriors a lot better than with Minnesota

Not looking great for the Ja-less Grizz at this point either. Figured golden state took their first lead of the night right as the Preds lost.

Well, when someone intentionally injures your best player and nothing is done about it, you see where things really stand.

Well you knew the series was over when Ja went down, but at least there is some nice hate built up to carry over to next season.
