It’s really disappointing that in 2022 the super bowl is not being broadcast in 4k. I’ve basically lost hope that this will ever catch on with any regularity.

Watching the US Womens hockey team now and it is incredibly enjoyable to watch a game without commercial breaks. Now if they could just figure out how to finish their chances.

I feel the same way about the Admirals. If they could finish their chances, they would have 50 more goals this year, maybe 1oo. You see nets that are 75% open and they can't complete that last pass. Aaaarghhh!

So Michigan and Wisconsin will be a story line for a bit. Juwan Howard's gonna have a hard time not getting fired or suspended for a long time...

While I agree with you, the guy from Wisconsin that kept grabbing his arms wasn't exactly helping the matter. That said it looks like they kind of shuffled him back and he came back at him so I gotta wonder what was said that finally made him step back forward. The initial story it doesn't look good for Horward but sometimes once things get rolling the story has a way of evening things out.

I'm not sure if I should be surprised that Howard hasn't already been fired or not. I followed the Fab 5 when I was in HS and really liked all of those guys. Was happy to see Howard get this chance with Michigan but he has to remember he's the coach. He's the role model. You can't be the one doing what he did at the end of that game. I also don't like that every time someone screws up that the only answer is to fire them so maybe they can just suspend him for the rest of the season.

I think the Racers are making up for Belmont taking their thunder these last few years.

Howard was fined $40K, Gard was fined $10K.

Howard needs to stick to coaching his team and not tell Gard how to coach his team, again.

I have to think that Juwan Howard is on thin ice. If he does this with another opponent the U of M will fire him.

Why you would press in a game that has a 20 point difference and it is in the last minute is a question that only Juwan Howard can answer. Wisconsin had 5 relatively inexperienced players on the court so Gard called a TO to talk to them. Howard went nuts over that TO when his pressing was the cause of that.

My brother is a Michigan alumni and I hate to see bad blood between Ann Arbor and Madison in basketball. The players were all shaking hands after the end of the game. The problem was with the coaches. It could have been a lot worse.

I was reminded of the Cincinnati - Xavier game several years when a few players ended up bloody. UC kicked 2 guys off the team. One guy came back after playing JC basketball, but it was 2 or 3 years later. Fortunately, this incident never got anywhere near that fiasco. As a UC alumni, I was embarrassed that players were fighting on the court like it was UFC event.

On a positive note, after Dayton lost their first 3 games of the season at home, they have turned it around. They probably need to win out to come in first in the A-10. They are up to #40 on KenPom, so they are a bubble team for the NCAA tourney. Their big win of the season so far was beating then #4 Kansas.

Edit: Dayton (20-9) lost at LaSalle (8-18) by 2 yesterday and fell to #50. The Flyers led by 11 at halftime. Ouch! For some reason, Dayton's point guard only played 8 minutes.

Dayton will have to beat Davidson to move up and probably win a few games in the conference tourney.

I have no direct ties to Dayton but my HS boyfriend (and current dear friend!) is a strong supporter. His son went there for sure and maybe his daughter, too. So I cheer for them. So Go Dayton, unless you're playing UT of course.

We really have some of the best pro athletes in this state! Morant, Henry, Mukhtar, Josi.

And I don't think any of them get the amount of recognition that they probably deserve.

I looked into this because I don't remember the Flyers playing the Vols.

It turns out that they did in the 1967 NCAA tourney. Dayton won 53-52 in Evanston, IL on their way to the Finals.

The women's basketball teams played about 5 years ago. The Vols won that one 66-57.

Dayton used to play Memphis, Cincinnati, Notre Dame and Louisville every year. Sometimes they played Eastern or Western Kentucky and every once in a while they played the Kentucky Wildcats.

They used to travel to play St Johns, DePaul, Duquesne or Florida State back in the 1970s.

It is odd that they never played UT.

Racers in a barnburner with Morehead.
Eagles just made a ridiculous bank shot 3 with 8 seconds to go.

And the Racers make it 20 in a row!!!

Nothing like table slamming the league on our way out the door!

With the Racers considered a lock for a bid regardless, under normal circumstances I wouldnt have minded giving a 2nd bid to Morehead. Would have been a first for the OVC I believe. But since we are leaving, well... screw 'em.

I remembered them playing in that women's tournament a few years back.

My guess is Dayton is too good for them to practice on -- they want strong odds to win those Non-SEC games.
