Trade you some dried cherry for some naming rights if your next story needs a handsome, but flawed protagonist...

Deal!

Speaking of publishing, I am about a week away from the 12 week guidelines set by a pencil agent to represent my kids book. Thursday will be 12 weeks since my re-sub. If I don't hear from her by the following Monday I'm going to email a reminder. So I haven't been doing much writing at all saved for some random nonsense, while I wait for the response from her. I am part way through a fantasy novel that I haven't worked on since January, and two weeks ago I came up with a different novel idea that I think would be really fun if I did it the right way.

Skipping all the confusing door language terminology I'm not familiar with, I have been considering building out the studs as you suggested. It would be a 1.25" thick board on either side to close the gap, which is pretty significant, and will require new molding, but that's gotta be much cheaper than the $400 custom order door I found haha
For a 1.25” gap, you have chosen wisely.

I screwed something like that up years ago and got some millwork trim to cover the a gap.

The DI Men's Lacrosse Final Four did not disappoint this weekend.

If Tevlin doesn't dress for the Redwoods on Saturday, I sure hope they have him on the bagpipes to lead the boys out of the locker room in Albany.

The Kav brothers are the type of guys that you can't help but root for, IMO. Skilled guys that are also gritty and hard working.

Duke scored first and then gave up the next six. It was an interesting first half, then Duke made some adjustments and closed it to within 2 in the third before ND just walked away again.

Yeah, the Tevlin and Chris Kav goals to close out the 3rd quarter after Duke had tied it at 7-7 were the momentum shift that carried the day.

Used to love going to that in DC. I'd go with some Navy buddies from the Syracuse area and their brothers that were Syracuse grads.
I know that I will want to go to a Final Four weekend with Nate after he and I are done with school.

Well my children have departed for a trip to the UK with their mother. To the best of my knowledge, it's the last of my ideas for family adventures that she can bogart - the cabin camping in the mountains with going whitewater rafting was the other big one.

I have mixed feelings about it. Cool experience for the kids, shitty of the ex to hijack your kids like that

It's summer so she has hijacked them every year but lockdown. The older one has said he's done with it... but he's going on this one. He's also told me that the things he and I want to do (which includes a trip to Europe) are between he and I. I jokingly told him to tell her that I was shopping for cars for him (I was) and she immediately rushed out to find something to have him buy. :biglaugh:

I do expect the trip to Iceland my daughter and I have talked about for years and also she and I going to Glacier National Park to get bogarted though.
