What's frustrating, they kept up Luplow who didn't have good AAA numbers and is 29. Schneider is a lot younger and has had great AAA numbers this year. They should have given him a shot instead of Luplow.

I think the point to be made here is how would the Jays fare if they subbed Biggio/Espinal for Schneider/Clement?

I agree that Schneider and Clement would be better uses of Biggio and Espinal's roster spots. I just disagree that Schneider specifically would make up for Atkins not addressing the team's need for another bat that can hit lefties.

I believe both Schneider/Clement would as even the numbers cited would be a positive contribution compared to whatever we've been getting from a few of the guys in the lineup vs lefties. Springer, Jansen, Kirk, and Espinal haven't performed well vs lefties this year.

I’m kinda amazed at how many people are replying to the Jays tweets to promote Schneider. Even the broadcast bringing up a report on him during the game. Never really seen a “non prospect” end up with this much fanfare before his debut. Except maybe Biggio… I also can’t really remember Pillar receiving this much attention when he was heating up in the minors.

With Bo out I don't see us holding down a playoff spot unless Springer and Vladdy magically find their A-games. Vladdy hitting under .270 is a travesty
