CGY are only 2 points ahead and playing like absolute trash lately (2-8 in their last 10)
we can DEFINITELY still pass them.

True. But if CGY wins tonight, they move 4 pts ahead. Habs would need to win all 3 of their games to pass them while CGY loses the rest.

All CGY needs are 4 pts in their final 4 games. They play ANA tonight ans SJS for their final game of the season.

They play ARI and VAN in their other 2 games.

Basically, if CGY can get to 79 pts, they are mathematically ahead of us no matter what.

I'll definitely feel better if they win tonight - I don't want to fall lower than 7.

We need CGY to win as MSL is certainly not playing to lose.

If CGY picks ahead of the Habs, and both Demidov and Lindstrom are gone, we don't have a chance in hell at Iginla.

The lower you finish the better the chances to win the 1st overall. Also there's value in having the 2nd overall as you can chose whoever you want in the next wave. At 5th you have 17.1% chances to win the 1st or 2nd overall pick. At 7th you have 13.2% chances. I'd rather have 17.1% chances personally.

And if someone wins the lottery behind us, I'd rather us fall to 6 than 7 or 8.

Coyotes officially moving to Utah.

Boys playing hard...up 1-0 already in Edmonton.

This is the dying howl of the Yotes... Doing us a final favor .

Arizona goalie looking sharp right now.... good sign.. let's hope he can shut the door the rest of the way!

Coyotes get out of the seconds with a 2-1 lead .... they gonna need a huge 3rd!!
