We already in a good position to draft a really really good young prospect. Even if Habs finish bottom 7, that's a top 9 lock.

I've only just started looking at draft prospects, but is it actually a worst case scenario? I could see any of Parekh, Catton, Buium, etc. being better than half those guys. The cut-off for the tier Montreal's likely picking from is definitely not 6th to 7th.

I agree with you. But even if they can't draft Celebrini, Demidov or Lindstrom. Habs have a high chance to grab Iginla, Eiserman or Catton. They are all have massive potential to become 1st liner. I see 100% Eiserman shine with Dach.

Let's say we keep the first line as is. Either of those two could be nice additions next to Dach.

I wouldn't put anything past the Flames but ya it is looking like 5-7.

They look like a perfect spot for Lindstrom. Bedard, Moore, Nazar, Reichel. They really need size and finishing ability up front.
