They're both disgusting for different reasons. Ottawa's disgusting because they're likely purposely underperforming. Arizona's disgusting because they're a backyard team that's a real farce in the NHL. But, at least Arizona's won games they had no business winning (Vegas). It's the Habs and their stupid butt plugs (Gallagher, Armia, now Dvorak's back...) that are relentless in their quest to win some absolutely useless games.

Exactly - that’s why if they don’t win, I really believe we end 8th. Ottawa has hard schedule, Yotes blow and we playing like we are after the cup.

Well there's 6 really good forwards (Celebrini, Demidov, Lindstrom, Catton, Eiserman, and Iginla) and many good d including the following 4: Dickinson, Levshunov, Parekh, and Buium. So we're getting one of those if we finish top 10. Then there's Saliev, Yakumchuk, Helenius, etc...

I think they will take a F no matter what, based on interviews.
I think top 4 are gone by 6, 7 latest.
I also don't think they care for Eiserman - Hence it will be Catton vs Helenius.

We'll see. If Demidov, Lindstrom and Iginla are gone, do you really pass up on Levshunov, Dickinson or Silayev ? I wouldn't. Silayev plays the right side despite being left handed.

Don't sleep on these D. Sure we need a forward more. But if there's a future number 1 dman available (like Quinn Hughes or Dobson) that would be a sweet add.
Anyways the Flyers suck. My gut told me we'd win tonight even though my heart wanted a loss. hopefully the Islanders and Wings take care of business against us and the Sens continue to dominate us...
On the #1 D thing, if we picked up a D last year at #5 and don’t expect him to be a 1D, I’m disappointed in the scouting department. So yeah, if don’t see a 1 in all of our D’s, pick one.

Calgary traded Hanifin & Tanev at TDL, and boy have they sucked since those trades. They have zero depth on D, like none. They traded Zadorov too. They're playing minor leaguers.
I know everyone wants them to grab Iggy's son, but they really need a good young D.
