ACL and MCL ? Not sure if I have ever heard that one before. Poor SOB. I'm sure he was looking forward to seeing what he could do as much as we were.
It's not uncommon, but it's possible the MCL injury is not always mentioned since only the ACL requires surgery and is a longest to heal (6-9 months).

My favorite thing is all the Habs media

There's no way they'll be this injured again!!

Like it was 2 years in a row, it's gonna be 3 years in a row now considering we've already lost 80 man games, Dvorak will miss like 20 and Guhle will probably be out awhile too with our luck.

Just gotta bank all this injury shit and hope we are insanely healthy when it matters most.

I thought we were better than we are, we are not, with 2 losses of Dach an Ghule the main focus should be a top 5 pick for a forward, no other way to go about it

Started with 82 (Price)
Added 80 already (Dach)
+ 20ish for Dvorak
+ indefinite for Wideman
+ 3-4 weeks for Ghule (allegedly)
+ ....

Imagine the Ducharme year how pathetic it was
Imagine last season how pathetic it was
Imagine this season with the same lineup minus Newhook and Pearson , things are still completely out of touch and nothing is fixed or getting fixed.

We just realized that our coaching staff is vastly overrated
The prospects aint looking That crazy

And during those 2 years, We picked the worst player in the top 5 with our first overall.
And Busar
Then on the huge tanking season we barely traded anyone to get better odds at Franchise player in Bedard to end up with another f***ing defenseman who got injured already.

Our goalie situation is even worse.
Our defensive squad blows. The right side is literally 3 6/7th dman in the NHL.
Our bottom 6 is worse than the early 2000s
Our top 6 lack wingers and consistency.
Our head scouts is a friend of Bergevin and a Moron that butchered the NYR in Bobrov.

The only positive is that Ylonen played an average game and we are now crying to play him in the top 6.

Or Pezetta because he got into 2 fights which none of it is related to win a game.

We have the smoothest schedule of the NHL in October and the team almost threw against Chicago.

" just wait until Struble, Barron , Mailloux , Hutson , Popcorn , Slaf , Ylonen , Farrell and Roy are all ready , we gonna be dangerous to play against.

Meanwhile *crickets*

Man it's hard to love a team that can't build anything. It just shows how bad Carey Price was carrying this franchise.

Do we need to rebuild the current rebuild?

Just one quick question, how old are you?

Well i did not want to be on the tank train this year. I really needed to see the team improve standing wise. But i guess i’m back with y’all. Lets tank this one, hope for high end offensive talent.

This year draft is slightly above average. SO we will probably end up drafting in the top 3.

Assuming dach makes a full recovery and is back at 100% for the start of next season, his absence might be a blessing in disguise for the tank this year. This is probably the last year until all the Habs elite-very good prospects make the jump so hopefully another top 5 pick is in the cards

Don’t worry most of the fanbase was thinking the same. People forget that Dmen take a long time to develop.

Add 82 for Price. We're already almost at a guaranteed 200 and have played 3 games.

As much as I want us to finish low enough so we get the best possible pick, you can't tell me that it's discouraging that with 79 games left in the season we are already done.
Habs aren't done. People are just being depressing negative nancies over losing 1 2 players. The "meltdown" last night was the result of this being a young team. It should fix itself for the next game. Well I hope.

Now if Monty gets injured and the team is stuck with an Allen/Primeau combo.

Savard/Gallagher getting injured would actually improve the team on the opposite direction.

I created this thread because I believe the Habs need to tank to draft an elite talent in 2024.

But... not like this...
Not like this...

Pretty impressive start to the season for ''nos glorieux'' Didn't think they had tank in them again for another season but cheese whiz if they are not doing their best to try to NOT win games.Looking good for a top draft pick again and fingers crossed that they don't much it up this time by finishing too high.Never know, maybe a little lady luck and they could get first pick, good stuff! Go Habs Go!

It is indeed depressing because we can't catch a break.

We don't know what kind of team we have cause they never actually played together and with Dach out for the season, we won't know either this year cause Dach is big piece of the puzzle. This is frustrating.

Since last year, for me it's always the same expectation: We'll finish as high as our young prospect push us, but since there are always a bunch of them injured, it shouldn't be very far this year either.

I know we should expect growing pains during a rebuild but it does feel more like pain than growth thus far

You have to be good to be lucky. When you keep f***ing up, bad things will inevitably happen.
