Catton can easily be compared to Benson. I would be thrilled if Habs pick him at #6 this year.

I think Catton is better. But again extremely small sample size. I think there's draft years where Catton would have went top 3.

He said that their losing streak started the day rumors surfaced that the team might move to Salt Lake, said the team took it really bad and became demoralized.

The timing is right. They haven't won a game since news came out about Houston/SLC as moving destinations for Arizona. It really sounded at the time that it was essentially a done deal. Coyotes owner then came out a few days later & said, no, but the team has swan dived to 14 straight losses & counting.

Yeah sure, the top 10 is fine and we're pickcing Top 10 pretty much no matter what this year but unlike the past 2 years, I just don't care if they pick 6 or 8.

Yeah it's why we shouldn't go crazy when we play Montembeault or when Armia scores a goal. At the end of the day there will be some great players available to us wherever we end up drafting. What matters is that are scouts do a good job in identifying the right pick and the development staff does their job properly.

In the intermission Garrioch said that Tarasenko will be traded and when asked what changes he would make to the team he said after watching the 1st period he would trade the entire team. Couldn't agree more.

Oh yeah for Dadonov. They can choose 2024, 2025 or 2026 draft. I imagine they do it in 2026 with the hope they'll be a playoff team by then & it won't be a high pick. No way they do it this year when it's top 10.

They have 24 hours to decide after the conclusion of the draft lottery.
