Celebini,lindstrom,demidov,eisermqn,levshunov and silayev.
Catton im growing on though.
Eiserman might fall out of the top 6.

In fact as of now peoples' lists are so all over the place that it's possible anyone other than Celebrini falls. At least as of now. We'll see where the consensus goes.

It'd take an unprecedented run on defenseman to save us now.

They are gonna have to get it right between Catton, Eiserman, Iginla and Helenius.

It begs the question: even if Hughes prefers the leadership Savard will bring between now and TDL 2025 to a 1st or a 2nd ( whatever he could fetch in a trade), is it worth trading him now to try to drop in the standings below one or both of Arizona and Columbus - and to ensure we finish below Ottawa, Buffalo, et al?

Savard seems to be helping Xhekaj at this very moment. Who could we replace him with in the market this summer?

It's over, guys. We're going to finish 6th.

We're now 4 pts up on Arizona, as they just lost they're 14th consecutive game. They're not catching us again.

Columbus is now 7 pts back.

Everyone else is now too far ahead for us to catch. Buffalo at #8 is 5 pts up. Seattle #9 is 6 pts ahead.

There's only Ottawa left. They are 2 pts back with 3 games in hand.

Tomorrow, Ottawa hosts Arizona. Sens should win. We'll fall to #6, and that's where we'll likely finish.
6th is a high pick. I have my eye on Catton.

Perfectly fine if Habs land Eiserman with their 1st round pick

“The only thing Mike Bossy can do is score”….

“Caufield can only shoot the puck and score”…

Not saying he’s Bossy, but I’ll “settle” for Eiserman no worries

We'll really see HuGo's draft style if they pass on Eiserman for someone like Tig Iginla... But such discussions are premature.

Latest projection is 8-12 for Eiserman and only a select few teams have Tij in the top 10.
I've seen Eiserman projected as low as 14th and high as 2nd. It's all over the map.

He'll likely be available when we pick. I don't expect us to take him. But I won't be surprised to regret it if we don't.

The good thing is HuGo have a lot of connections to the Boston area, including Eiserman committing to BU where Hughes son is currently playing, so they've probably done a ton of due diligence on him.

I also don't expect us to take him assuming one of Demidov/Lindstrom/Catton are still around, but having extra knowledge on a guy like Eiserman is helpful in the event they are picking between guys like him/Iginla/Helenius etc.

Gonna try to dig and see if we can understand who the guys behind Lindstrom and Demidov are.

If Eiserman is 8-12 range and Tij is out of the top 10 for most teams.. there's gotta be a forward or two that is seen higher than them across the league.

I think Hughes has shown himself to be pretty shrewd. He's earned my faith and I'll hope for the best. He's falling for a reason. I'm sure Hughes will do his dilligence here.

Mckenzie's list had Helenius 8th, even before Catton who was 10th so he's probably still thought of highly across the league.

I also wouldn't be surprised if teams value Greentree higher than his current rankings as a lot of teams always value size.

That's a bit of a downer actually for the tank......
Last year there's was a big Top 4 in the draft, worth dropping in the standing but this year....meh.

The top 10 is really good this year.

Catton can easily be compared to Benson. I would be thrilled if Habs pick him at #6 this year.

Yeah sure, the top 10 is fine and we're pickcing Top 10 pretty much no matter what this year but unlike the past 2 years, I just don't care if they pick 6 or 8.
