We can't possibly let these two franchises keep getting away with this

But it's even more hilarious when they have both more GF and less GA than the Habs.
I'm really hoping for Arizona and Buffalo to start surprising us from every so often with a win ... like we're doing our part ... can't they just win a few more than us at this point?Only one game tonight: Carolina @ Arizona. Coyotes are 2 points back with 2 games in hand. They're also on a 7 game losing streak. Carolina isn't great on the road, just barely above .500, but the Coyotes absolutely suck.
Not expecting much. A point would be nice.
It'd be absolutely hilarious if when Montreal was nearing the end of the rebuild that we yoink a player from one of the "further ahead in the rebuild" perma rebuilding teams that's had enough. Keller, Thompson, whichever player isn't a loser diver from Ottawa (can't think off the top of my head).Arizona sucks chunks. Keller can rack up points, while his team keeps on sucking. Can't wait to see him traded...
Funniest part is Ottawa and Buffalo were supposedly teams on the rise, soon-to-be contenders as stated by numerous clowns on the main boards for the past few years. They'll be winless sack of shit franchises for life no matter how much talent the league gifted them.I actually hate Arizona with a passion.
BUF, OTT and ARI can f**k off. Absolute bum franchises just leave us alone man. We've only been at this game for a few years they've had almost a decade ffs
Buffalo and Ottawa have drafted and built a nice nucleus of young players, have also traded for alot of decent players, Thompson, Skinner, Giroux, Chychrun to name a few and yet both franchises continue being mediocre. This is what happens when you allow losing to become the norm and are ok with it. This is why I want to Habs to win. #antitanker
What it tells me more than everything, is that you need a good goalie to make the playoff. Just look at what Price did for us all those years with a mediocre team. Sam was pretty good this year too, probably why we are not picking higher. I would not be againts spending a first in the next few years on a good goalie prospect. Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, Tampa Bay are all clubs who had succes coming from multiple years drafting top5. It's not a perfect recipie, but tanking for a few years is good.Buffalo and Ottawa have drafted and built a nice nucleus of young players, have also traded for alot of decent players, Thompson, Skinner, Giroux, Chychrun to name a few and yet both franchises continue being mediocre. Weird how the value of goalies has gone down. Rarely do you see goalies picked in the 1st round anymore. What it tells me more than everything, is that you need a good goalie to make the playoff. They still get picked up in the first round. We went threw a weird stretch where Luongo, Dipietro, Fleury, Montoya and Price went insanely high which I don’t think we’ll see ever again, at least not for a long time. But I don’t think taking a goalie in the first is a super big stretch depending on where you’re picking.Weird how the value of goalies has gone down. Askarov and Wallstedt are the most recent I think. Spencer Knight is still struggling almost 5 years later. Oettinger was taken right after Poehling. They still get picked up in the first round. I think Cossa was the last one in 2021. There’s certainly been a drop off. I’m still not opposed to taking a chance on a goalie in the first round, I just wouldn’t use a top 10 pick on one.Askarov and Wallstedt are the most recent I think.
