Yeah, that's fair. But there's some great offensive talent out there. Eiserman has slipped a bit but he was a solid 2nd coming into this season and some thought he'd challenge for number one. He's pure offense but defense can be taught. Do we want to pass up on a guy like that? I know there are a lot here who don't care for him but damn, you want elite offensive superstar potential? There it is.I like the posters example of taking Hedman over Matt Duchene if that's the choice. I still believe in BPA, unless the scouts really can't tell apples from oranges and have the two players equally rated.
And like I said, draft is all over the place. I'm just reading up projections now. One scout has Lindstrom 14th... It's crazy. There are tons of talented forwards here. There doesn't seem to be real consensus on where anyone is going to go.
