Still a few decent FW prospects will be around at that slot if we take into consideration Button's list

Don't need to take Button's list into consideration.. the defense are going high, the forwards going high are Celebrini and Lindstrom.. after that, it's anyones guess when the forwards go because defense is generally picked high when available and a lot of the teams still tanking with us have a need on the defensive side of the puck.

We will trade more guys at the deadline this year... I imagine similar... but I'll still guess we are 5-8.... Then hopefully win the lottery this year! :yo:

Speaking of OT points...

How many points they have earned this year while being the worst team on the ice? 20? More than that?

A lot more than those rare times when they weren't getting point but were the better team, that's for damn sure.

OT points and the lack of wins in regulation are saying that the "progression" is nothing but smoke and mirrors.

Pretty much what I’ve been saying all season. Too many crap teams and we are so thirsty for overtime’s lol.

How do you always stay so.... positive? Those OT points are pissing off everyone in this thread lol.

Me too I don't like OT points, but even without that, at least 5 teams are better tankers so far. Sooo it's ok. Anyway Habs can still grab a really good player at this range. Suzuki is a 13th overall, Caufield is a 15th overall and Guhle a 16th overall.

This is a bottom 5 team.
Need to trade Monahan, Pearson, possibly Savard and one of Allen or Montembeault.
Take chance on players with size and skills like Riley Tufte.
