I just want another top pick this summer. Then we start winning!!

Unless we get Celebrini starting to win is not going to happen next year. The only player that we could add next year is Roy. And we're going to lose some assets at the trade deadline, so Dach/Newhook coming back isn't going to shift the balance enough. Reinbacher, Hudson, Beck and Mesar are likely going to the AHL. I think it's more the year after when the AHlers join, and our 1st pick this year are likely to join (if it's a forward). Another Dach/Newhook trade could change that a bit for next year but right now we don't have that extra pick to make that move we might have to sacrifice a D to get the pick. We'll see what happens with Harris, Monahan, Anderson, Dvorak, Spinach, Armia, Savard at the deadline.

If we get Celebrini, watch out, that's like a whole 2 years shortcut.

Caufield, Suz, Slafkovski
Newhook Celebrini Dach
Roy Dvo Anderson
Gallagher Evans Ylonen
Armia Spinach Heineman

Matheson-Barron
Guhle- Kovacevic
Hudson - Harris
Struble

Producing this lineup made me realize we still have very little depth at center, Beck, Mysak, Kidney, Kapanen, Simoneau, Biondi, Smilanic, Eriksson, Davidson, Smith are blehhhhh, only 1 future NHLer maybe 2.

Interesting to see Ylonen becoming a bigger piece than anticipated game after game.

What I mean by that is that I'm also hoping for KH to be much more aggressive this off season and put a winning team out there. I want him to strike 2 deals like he has done in the past with Dach for example, because UFA wise there isn't much there. Let's see what happens, and hopefully the lottery gods are on our side

What are the candidates for such a trade this summer you think?

Not sure who will be available and it's hard to predict. The UFA market we already know is not going to be strong, so besides Reinhart which I don't think signs here, it's gotta be via trade.

Playoffs for most teams will determine a lot going forward on who they will want to move not being happy with performances or addressing other needs, but I think it's time for us to be much more aggressive. I know most don't like him and think he is a floater, but I still think the Idea of Zegras here makes a lot of sense

I feel a trade like the Dach deal could happen. I'm 50/50 on Zegras. I love his natural ability but I'm not sure he's a guy you win with. He comes across to me as more of an individual player than a team player. Not sure he's a guy that drives the team in the playoffs.

If you are to believe the rumblings he seems to be a me, I type of player and this far this management group has not taken a chance on players with that type of attitude

I think he will, but he's still very much a kid. I see the Nylander maturation curve happening on this one.

At some point it's not a fluke that we end regulation tied before going to the gimmicks - gimmicks that we've been better at than the opposition on the whole.
It's because Bettman ruined the nhl for fake parity and all teams just play for the guaranteed point if they insist on ot points it's needs to be 3 for a win and 1 for a loss this fake non separation crap is the worst
