Playing some FIFA 14 and I started my career mode as Manchester City as they have a budget of $119M. Tried to buy Messi but Barcelona would only accept 203.5 M. I sold Aguero(95 million)and some one else to acquire the money. Now I negoating with Messi.

He just rejected a 1 Million/week salary. Time to go buy Cristiano Ronaldo.

That's hilarious. Back when I used to play FIFA, I'd never go out and buy the big stars. I'd always take a 3rd division team and work my way up into the EPL by buying young guys with high potential. It's funny how many of the guys I bought ended up famous nowadays. I remember buying Kun Aguero before he was big. *puts on oversized glasses and scarf*

That is what I do as well. There are now 4 divisions in the game. Just doing this for fun.

Just bought Ronaldo for 108 Million. Gave the same smart as I offered Messi. Going to buy another good striker to have two good strikers. I have about 70 million left.

I forgot to mention that I also made myself with awful stats and full potential, then eventually become the greatest player ever to play the game. Good times.

I'm interested to know how bad you beat up the computer with your all-star team.

Funny, that's exactly what I did too back when I played FIFA. I think the latest FIFA I played was 08. Thinking about picking it up and choosing a club in a South American or Mexico. Or just a low-tier English club again.

I was a bit disappointed that EA still hasn't picked up the J-league license from Konami... That would have been my first choice

Lol just bought the biter Saurez for 62.5 million. 623,000 salary per week.

I haven't played a video game in over 5 years. My favourite ones used to be the Splinter Cells, I went through and beat all of them at least 5 times each. Maybe I should shake off the dust and call Sam Fisher out of retirement?

Did you play the new X-Com (Enemy Unknown/Enemy Within)? I never played the original but I loved the reboot. So fun to play, and they really nailed the atmosphere, I thought. They added a couple of nice features in the expansion too.

Ooh, I could never get into Civ 5, after playing the duck out of Civ 4, but I'm really hyped for Beyond Earth. I'm a huge sucker for that type of setting in a game.

Yeah Beyond Earth we finally get a game which we wished would have been an expansion to go explore space in a current Civ experience.
