I was expecting like 5/125 or so, just a bit more than Wheeler. Similar to what I thought Ray may get.

If Ray was willing to take 20M a season, I'd be okay with offsetting the money savings by giving him extra years (ie give him 7/140 as well if he would accept 20M instead of say 25)

Prime Berrios AAV of 20 for final 6 years is going to be the same AAV as 39 year old Verlander off TJS, ha. Verlander probably is like lights out until 45 though somehow.
$120 million for 6 free agent years is a great deal for the team.

If we had lost SWR and Martin for one year of Berrios, heads would roll, so this is definitely welcome news - although this likely spells the end of Ray unless Rogers cracks open the vault further, so good luck to him.
Now I am happy with the trade. Locked up our #2 on a good contract. Need to get our Ace back now and another decent starter.
