There is mutual interest for Giroux to return to Florida

Penthouse in Aventura, 6000 sq. ft. $5-6,000,000.00 Nanny. Curbside valet. Concierge front desk. dock for 72 foot Hatteras for the leisurely ride to the Bahamas. What is not to like in Miami area.......????

1. 8 deaths due to stupid drivers not obeying the railroad crossings or getting caught on the railroad tracks. This year.......
2. Redlights and stop signs are optional
3. 90 year olds driving
4. I-95 along the Delaware River in Philly is a cakewalk next to I-95 in Miami at rush hour.
5. Every day at least 3 accidents from Exit 16 to Exit 32 on I-95

This is a personal observation since I was there last week.

Idiot, Flyers job is much more appealing or at least Shill Meltzer thinks it is.

Vegas fired DeBoer so fast, that type of disrespect is a turn off for other top coaches. I mean not as fast as the Flyers fired Vigneault on a longer contract…..but the sheer disrespect.

Tortorella is actually a better coach for this team than Cassidy. My column:

At this point it doesn't matter who coaches. They're so far stuck up their own asses and in quicksand that they won't be competitive until at least 2 coaches from now. This next one is just fodder. They don't even have the draft picks for this coach to groom, nor do the have the developmental staff to do so in general. So it's a big whatever for me, check back in 4-6 seasons. Interesting if true. Thought that Trotz would go there if he didn’t take the Jets job. It’s a club that has talent but is short notice on cap space; a bit thin on the back end with questions in goal. Cassidy has his veteran roster. Let’s see what he does with it.
My call is that the Avs will continue to whip the LVGKs. They’re head and shoulders the class of the West. Cassidy is to going to change that.

Vegas seems to be well built for the Avs and have beaten them in the past

Vegas had a weird season. I still think they’re a very good team and while just a notch below the Avs at the moment (and may be on an even playing field depending on how the Avs UFAs go).

They have given the Avs trouble in the past including a PO loss to them. They also tied for the President’s Trophy IIRC last year.

Well that’s quite the leap to make based on a job being filled and nothing else…
