That roster seems like a good fit for him too. Wouldn't be surprised if he's their coach by the end of the week.

Fletcher missing out on Trotz will also turn more of the Authentics against him, so that's a good thing.

If Hextall is given the leash to fire Sullivan, I think he'd do it because he's an idiot. I'd want Sully in a half-second. Looking around the NHL, that's the only currently-employed coach I really want.

Sullivan is a Top 3 coach in the league as far as i'm concerned.

That is some rough wording.

1. Manitoba’s population is approximately 1.39 million. It sounds like each provincial resident is prepared to donate towards Barry Trotz becoming coach of the Jets, and they were interviewing him on Tuesday. Several sources are drawing a line from Trotz to Vegas, but I’ve heard the Flyers, who have seen him firsthand in Washington and New York, have a deep, deep respect for him and his work. He’s a top candidate there.
They haven’t met him.

Seems wrong...
2. Philadelphia is getting closer to starting its interviews. They know how critical this hire is for them, determined to leave no stone unturned in finding the right person. What’s been on their minds is a coach with a strong track record, demands accountability from players, gets buy-in right away, and makes teams harder to play against.

Oh also,

Absolutely horrible.

They just want some old vet c***

This organization just doesn’t get it. All they’re good for is buzzwords & cliches.

You know what teams don’t harp on culture, accountability, etc.? Teams with talent & teams that also know how to leverage that said talent. The Flyers don’t have enough talent nor does the organization know how to identify or make use of talent.

So much panic without understanding what they mean. Trotz, Cassidy, and Sullivan all fit under what was described and I think most would be elated with any of them. Well, besides the usuals who complain about everything,

Harder to Play Against is the Hockeymens version of Live Laugh Love.

They're out of ideas after trying nothing new and have turned to selling vibes.
Harder to Play Against sounds like a GM who doesn't have the vocabulary to express what's in his head. Still not great, but better than what you suggest.

Their favorite go to line. They have no idea how to achieve that and it's obvious, but they sure do love saying it.

Biggest f***ing imbeciles to ever manage this team.

“coach with a strong track record”

Retread

“demands accountability”

Nothing screams Flyers like accountability

“gets buy-in right away”

Retread who yells cliches

“makes teams harder to play against”

Not poor defensively

If this isn't setting the fanbase up for a Tortorella hire, I don't know what is.

Good thing I don't give a shit anymore lol

They still have jobs.
