Have a listen..Way.Ahead of their time progressive rock.

The wave of new progressive rock bands that came out of Europe in the late 1960’s touched many different European countries. Bands like Camel, Caravan, Van der Graaf Generator, Soft Machine all fueled the progressive rock movement. In the city of Cologne, West Germany, a band by the name of Can was formed in 1969. The group released their first album in 1969 entitled Monster Movie. From 1969 to 1979, the band released at least one album a year to become one of the most consistent progressive rock acts of the 1970’s. The band released one more album in 1989 after a ten year hiatus and that was it.

I was surprised to hear this song playing at the garden during the 2nd period tonight. I thought i was the only one who remembered it.

A B's fan gave me two "tickets" to see the Blackhawks game at the Garden last season. I invited board pal Gordoff.

Strangely, at least to me, they actually played Joan Jett's version of... Iggy's "I Wanna Be Your Dog" (from 1988's excellent Up Your Alley),

The boys attended a Kings game in 1967 and then played a little gig in Monterey that was a smashing success

Moon blew the whole thing up when they appeared on Smothers Bros

They hastily left America back to England on their Magic Bus when the ATF went after Moon

Sans auto & less than flush, this was my idea of a first date as a senior @ Grosse Pointe South high school in '82,
