Pack the suitcase, we got to hit the road.

"Riding on a Greyhound, counting those white lines"

"The morning after blues, from my head down to my shoes"

"And I'm thankful that old road's a friend of mine"

My brother Michael was a Genesis fan in high school, lo many years ago. This was the Peter Gabriel fronted genesis. He was particularly fond of The Lamb lies down on Broadway.

Oddly, my friend Michael, not to be confused with my brother michael, just emailed a compilation clip from YouTube on the quote many costumes of Peter Gabriel, unquote.

I knew he was weird, but not that weird. As I said to my friend mike, I will forward to my friend mary, because it's just weird enough for her.
🎩🏒
Ha keep me posted...Let me know what he thinks. Watched a Genesis documentary. The documentary mentioned the costume thing was because Gabriel lacked confidence / suffered stage fright.

Love MGMT!

Siberian Breaks (modern day Genesis song). It's a long song but hoping the gang gives it a chance. Beautiful!

My friend Mary likes Klaus Nomi

and Tiny Tim (!), so she might like Peter and his costumes. I never knew he was so weird.

I remember those years well.

So, the original line up?

Saw them in '01 at the Worcester Centrum. This was before Izzy left but after Axl (who, surprise, was late to the stage) kicked out original drummer Steven Adler because of his heroin addiction. It was Rose who encouraged Adler to take heroin in the first place, as doing so would underscore the band's "street cred."

Great show.

She was here in Maine last summer, couldn't go due to health, thank goodness for You Tube.

Doug Dillard and his banjo, was the reason I got into Bluegrass

With Woody's boy and Ry Cooder

Monkee-ing around with Mike

Received this epic version from a friend of a timeless classic along with how it came to be. Can see why Jimmy Hendrix tried to get the bassist to join his band and why Pete Townsend wanted to replace Keith Moon with this drummer. Great song but they had so much more.

Some how ended up here,oops!

These should have been included with the other clips, apologies,I blame the 'ma:doh:

From the WSJ of all places, Happy Birthday to Raw Power. Ma was not impressed, I'm not sure about the neighbors.

My favorite Stooges album, despite the fact it sounded like David produced it by closing his eyes and randomly sliding the mixer knobs. Matter of fact, I've heard the remastered version and it somehow loses some of its charm. Iggy did 3 songs off this album when I went to see this show (still the greatest rock concert I've ever been to):
