Saw this guy a few weeks back with the family. Really enjoyable concert and good stage presence and emotion. I think he made my 15 year old daughter cry. Being in the middle of everyone about 10 people back from stage when he did this song it felt like a flashback to the Beatles - people (teens) just going nuts and screaming / crying / etc. Good singer, good writer and fun times.

It still sounds fresh and weird today.
Roy Thomas Baker (Queen) produced.
A fabulous debut.

Benmont looks crushed. I did follow them around the States and Canada one summer saw 34 shows that summer, was the best, 1995
In the video it looks like Mike was trying to cheer him up.
Benmont is an excellent keyboard/ piano player.
