RIP Tina.
By the early 90s. it was game shows, etc. Anything but music videos. A lot of those videos -- most -- were crap from crap acts. But there was good stuff, too. MTV was the reason a lot of middle American households got cable in the first place.Back when MTV actually gave a damn about music & the music business.

We saw Geoff Tate, the singer from that era last year perform Operation Mindcrime in its entirety from beginning to end in a smallish venue and is still touring as we speak. It was good but not as good as in the arena atmosphere. I remember they opened for Metallica AJFA tour and they were loud and when Metallica came on my deaf friend thought they were too loud, they were! The drums so heavy I felt as if I was getting punched in the chest.lolBelieve it or not, I saw Queensrÿche @ the old Garden in, like, 1989 or 90. I was alone for the ride.
Wonder whatever happened to them. Lead singer certainly brought it.

Up in the Mt. Washington area, I was almost at the summit, lost my grip and caught my leg in the safety rope........... Nah, actually I was walking back to the car after getting an ice cream cone and stepped on a large rock in the gravel parking lot. Twisted ankle, two broken bones.Hey, how did that happen? Hope you are on the mend and that it won't take too long to pitch those crushes.
Where in New Hampshire are you?
Take it easy, enjoy the massive horse flies in New Hampshire at this time of year, and have a gansett on me, neighbor!
