I had some cousins in MA that were full all into the emo thing when I was a teenager in the early 2000s and I was never a fan.

'Straight edge' this and that all the way up to their 20s and would go to 'shows' and petty mosh crap. At that point I was like uhhh I'll be relaxing drinking a couple beers watching the Bruins game, thanks.
