Yea I love the Batman universe but thats about it on the DC side.
Suicide Squad is the first DC movie I've ever wanted to see. Jared Leto is going to be the best Joker ever and it won't even be close. No disrespect the the Dark Knight version, but that is not how the Joker should be, he's bat **** ****ing crazy and psychotic, but is a very light way and from the previews Leto appears to have truly nailed it

Honestly I loved Heath Ledger's Joker it fit the movie series so well. I'm interested in SS but I don't think that style of Joker would have worked as well.

Yeah I thought Heath portrayed him really well also. He made the character quite disturbing and I thought he was every bit as compelling to watch as Batman was. The movie I saw last night lacked that punch. I think Leto will be amazing as well, I'm super excited to see that too.

that's why I said it was no diusrespect, I understand they had it fit the tone of the movies, but to me that just isn't the joker, you know what I mean?

I also love how it has been modernized with the tattoo that very clearly fit the Joker's personality.

To be fair if we are talking about Adam West's Batman, neither is that

I'm just happy we have all these superhero movies now.

I actually didn't mind Bain either, but Heath Ledger's Joker might be the best villain I've seen all time. I'm really excited to see what Leto is going to do with it.

I actually thought the guy who played Lex Luther (also played Mark Zuckerberg) did a really good job too.

I really liked the Heath Ledger version and thought it suited the movie and appreciated the different spin he took with it. That said, I didn't fall in love with it to the point where I want to go around dressing up like him and quote his lines like the general public did.

I think the Jared Leto version is going to be really, really good and more in line with the modern comic version but it's gonna be harder for people to accept it because of how well received Heath Ledger's version was.

Why so serious?

I believe the entire Dark Knight series was supposed to be a more realistic modern take on Batman which is why it differs so much from the comics. Heath Ledger's Joker wasn't like the comic book version but, he was still one of my favorite movie villains ever he was great.

I don't think you can say that one joker isn't really accurate to the character. Since his introduction like 70 years ago there have been so many interpretations and versions of him that it's more to personal taste what you like. I think every live action Joker has been good and none of them have been the same. Each actor from Romero to Nicholson to Ledger has brought their own spin to it that worked for the movie/show they were in.

As for Superman, he is my favorite comic character, has been since I was a kid. I do not like the current movie version. Brings nothing to the character that is true to it at all.

Captain America is my second favorite hero, and Marvel has done such a PERFECT job bringing him to life and having the character be accurate that it's incredible. I'm so excited for Civil War next month.

Honorable mention to Tommy Lee Jones in Batman Forever. He was pretty much playing the Joker, because he sure as hell wasn't playing Two Face

People are very apprehensive about Leto's Joker. He's a good actor, but man when I saw that first picture I was like... **** that looks stupid as hell and bad.

Comic book movie wise; yeah, Ledger's Joker is 1, no doubt. Then probably Magneto; he's been done both in the O.G xmen flicks and then in the new string of ones.

I'm a big comic guy. I've got a fairly sick collection; a lot of key issues from the 60s onwards; I'm happy it's become a phenomena. It's like Gam of Thrones. GoT is actually fairly 'meh' fantasy, but you put it on a grand scale, put **** and ass in it; and people that once were calling fantasy lame are now wearing Mother of Dragon shirts.
