Honestly I know squat about Deadpool, other than what I have seen in the trailers. But I am a Ryan Reynolds fan and the humor being used reminds me of his role in Waiting.

I'm seeing the movie tonight, because my friend Devin is a huge Deadpool fan, and it's his birthday next week, so I'm taking him for his gift.

I'm sure it will be fine, I just have a feeling I'll tire of the humor by the halfway point.

you sir are a terrible human being :shakehead

Upon the recommendations of a few people here I watched Jessica Jones. Which led me to watch Daredevil as they are going to tie together. Marvel/Netflix are also doing Luke Cage, iron Fist & The Defenders that will all tie in with Jessica Jones & Daredevil. There is also a strong possibility of a Punisher series and maybe even Elektra as well.

If you have yet to watch I recommend it. But I would suggest watching in chronological order.

1. Daredevil season 1
2. Jessica Jones season 1
3. Daredevil season 2

I think Luke Cage and Iron Fist are up next with season 1 each and then the Defenders. Jessica Jones season 2 could be anywhere in the middle. But the further they go, the more they will intertwine.

Luke Cage is September, and Iron Fist is sometime next year, my guess is spring, so around March/April. This leaves the chance of Jessica Jones Season 2 happening Fall 2017, though I think they may end up waiting until Defenders is done.

Defenders, which is Daredevil, Jones, Cage and Fist all teaming up in a TV Avengers essentially, could possibly come Fall 2017 but my guess is it will be Spring 2018. Gives lots of time to film it and get ready, and then the big Netflix team up would come just a month or two before Avengers: Infinity War, so you'd get the show team up then the movie team up right around the same time, which would be great timing wise.

Personally I am hoping for a Punisher series, and since he likely won't factor into Defenders, that would be what I'd like to see in Fall 2017. A second season of Luke Cage and Iron Fist I'd like to see them combined together rather than separate second seasons, since in the comics they are the Heroes For Hire, and are best friends/partners. Marvel have also said they doubt they go to more than two netflix shows per year. So my ideal release schedule if I was the one in charge would be:

Luke Cage: Fall 2016
Iron Fist: Spring 2017
Punisher: Fall 2017
Defenders: Spring 2018
Jessica Jones 2: Fall 2018
Daredevil 3: Spring 2019
Heroes For Hire: Fall 2019

That is what I'd love. Then in 2020 I'd do their next phase. Introduce some new characters. I want shows for Moon Knight, Blade and Cloak and Dagger very much.

the Show Runner for Jessica Jones has said Defenders is a strict schedule, so I cannot see it being pushed back to 2018. I think they are going to have to do 3 either this year or next.

Also you could combine Jessica Jones with Luke Cage & Iron Fist because she and Luke Cage get married in the comics.

Regardless there is some great TV from marvel coming up.

Also I do believe a Blade series in rumored to be coming.

Do you like the movies?

A Defenders release date isn't confirmed. So 2018 may be the planned date for all we know. It depends on when they start filming it as well.

it might be, yeah. I just know she said it was contractually obligated to be done before a certain date then claimed she didn't know what the date was. but she did say it may come before JJ season 2.

Ferk, the movies are okay but I like the shows more as they are darker and there is more room for character development.

I just watched Dare Devil on Netflix last night, I enjoyed it quite a bit more than Jessica Jones. And I really enjoyed the lead actress in JJ.

Dare Devil season 2 is great too, the guy playing Punisher is fantastic. I am looking forward to teh next show in this series.

He played Shane in the walking Dead he's a very good actor. Personally I thought David Tennant (Killgrave) was also great in Jessica Jones. Also I haven't started watching Daredevil season 2 yet but I've seen the first season and the first season of Jessica Jones, how would you rank the three seasons so far?

I preferred Jessica Jones the most and then season 1 of Daredevil. All are good quality TV tho

Jessica Jones was my favorite, then Daredevil season 2, then season one, but it's close margins

Kilgrave in Jessica Jones is one of my favorite villains n TV history. Truly terrifying

David Tennant is an excellent actor. Forget the Dr. Who lame ****, but watch Broadchurch and try not to love the guy.

Marvel is absolutely killing it on Netflix. Like, killing it. They pick excellent actors (Cox is beyond awesome, he was great in Boardwalk Empire and Bernthal has probably been the best representation of the Punisher to date). The thing with Netflix is they get to stay with the comics; they get to craft these awesome storylines and don't need to fill in the fluff or woman bait (watching Amell work out for 3 minutes shirtless in a 45 minute show is kind of pointless?).

Try watching Arrow and Flash then watch Daredevil season 1 (my favourite of the 3 so far; also read A Man Without Fear). There's no comparison. The WB/DC stuff is absolutely garbage in comparison.

Love how they portray the Punisher this season; hate the amount of ninjas ... But does Castle ever make up for kind of a **** season. Just brutal. That prison scene... Jeez.

Plus the Punisher has always been a favourite character. So to see them make a great show with him in the main cast is incredible. They got the feel of Daredevil, Fisk, Stick, Punisher, Kilgrave, Cage and Jones so right, it's actually a pleasure to watch.

Moriarty is the best villain ever, IMO. The portrayal in BBC's Sherlock is absolutely amazing.

Three months after signing up for Crave, I just finally finished watching Sopranos all over again. I was watching so much the last week, I had a dream I was tailing Tony Soprano trying to warn him about the FBI closing in on him

I just finished season 1 of Broadchurch actually and I loved it. And yes Killgrave was perfect interesting power, menacing and was also quite funny at points in the show.
