Definitely sense that. They even cut down the episodes to 8 in season 5. Also read Costner may not return for season 6......?.
They actually expanded to 16 I believe. What aired so far was just part 1 of season 5. Part 2 airs beginning sometime in May or June I believe. Totally agree on the sentiment that season 5 has been a mess and by far the weakest season. I'm not really even looking forward to part 2. Just feels like they've recycled a lot of plot points in season 5 with no real direction... Seasons 1-3 were great but you could sense the down trend in season 4 but at least it was still enjoyable. Season 5 has been straight crap imo.

Oh...did not know that. So basically they already filmed the 16 episodes. So they are going to finish it all up in Season 5 with no season 6 next year? Probably best they just get it all over with bc yeah season 5 so far has jumped the shark and agree you saw some petering out in season 4.

Never seen that show, but now I'm intrigued.

If you like Billy Bob Thornton, it's a no-brainer to watch this show!

And some of the 'goliaths' he takes on are played so well by William Hurt, Dennis Quaid, JK Simmons, a few others I'm forgetting.

need to see this

Everything about this but the wire flying seems cool. I just don’t think it’s ever been done well, including crouching tiger hidden dragon.
Wire flying looks off, very off, and probably could be done much better via cgi. That’s coming from someone that believes good practical effects are better than cgi.

The best cheesesteak in the city currently is a cheesesteak with cooper sharp, fried onions, and Longhots, from Kaileys Kitchen.
There’s no discussion to be had here. Just go get one.
This is the movie thread isn’t it!
