And Ekblad is better than Sekera.
The trade is decent...

Kreji had 70 points last year and this year had an off year with Injuries and still produce at a 55 pace hes clearly better than Monhan oo how the mighty have been forgotten

Just from what I've seen over the last month and a bit, spotrac.com is NOT a credible source for cap hits. I've found nhlnumbers.com to be the most accurate. And they existed even before capgeek!

1. I lost over 5M of cap with getting rid of big cap hits.
2. Krejci had 31 points last year, Monahan had 62. Double.
3. Sekera had 23 points last year, and a -3 plus/minus. Ekblad had 39 points and a +12 plus/minus on a (no offense) very bad Florida team.
