Art of Sedinery just a heads up that Versteeg's cap hit should be doubled. He's on a retained-salary contract from when he was traded from Florida.

OK, rule change. Contracts are only based on their hit to their current team.

I suppose a smarter version of me would pick him and trade him, but clearly nobody wants him so it's not like I'd get value.

I a;most took him instead of Versteeg, but I needed a winger more than another C. Solid pick, great value in round 13. If a guy capable of being a half-decent 2C is your 13th best player, you're doing pretty good.

Yeah, I didn't realize Kessel was 8m either. It didn't matter though, I would have picked him regardless, I was targeting him with my 2nd or 3rd pick from the start. I still understand that disappointment, though!
