Let's wait and see what the return is...

Last time Habs made a blockbuster with info leaking out slowly was the Gomez for Higgins trade.

Again, wait and see what the return is...there's no way the 2nd is the main piece. Not to mention Vanek is leaving at end of season.

This could be Wizniewski 2.0

We still don't know who we traded, and Vanek is leaving at the end of the season. First take is this was a very intelligent move, but I still don't see this team doing anything in the playoffs with Therrien as coach, sorry.

Islander thought that too, Vanek already has one foot in Minnesota.

This was a smart trade though, but the Habs need to play better for it to mean anything.
