No surprise but ....f***.... or should I say f***, once again. There is nothing left to cheer for. This is gonna be the worst Hawks team ever with very little in the system to be optimistic about.

I don't think anyone thought it would ever get this bad, so quickly .... not even me who has been warning folks since 2015 that this team was well on its way to a downward spiral.

Hayden has played ten times the number of games in the NHL as he has the AHL and that's absolutely wild to me.

The fact he still gets NHL contracts is pretty remarkable given how terrible he is at hockey

Being good in the room is a far more marketable talent than people realize. If it doesn't pan out he's only got a degree from Yale to fall back on.

Some folks seem to think that every forward must be a speedster to play in the NHL .... and if not, they are a bum. Hayden has always shown leadership abilities and despite his limited skating ability is looked upon as a big and useful 4th liner with a physical presence.

Agreed he’s at a point he’s a 2 way type of player but he will have a job for next few years
