Thanks to Stan and taking that HUGE 5 million garbage dump of TJ from Tampa they are set to win another cup, good job you imbecile. The props he got from that move around here by the many experts is hillarious. I bet those same experts are now gonna say 5 million is nothing lol
I'm still happy with the trade, got a 2nd for 5mil in cap we wouldn't be using anyway.

We got a good asset out of it and hoped Johnson would help this team as he was still productive player in TB

He got injured and his year was essentially lost. Maybe he contributes next year or not but getting a 2nd was fine value and deal and Seabrook being traded did provide Hawks more financial flexibility (As it does TB via LTIR)

Even thought TBL fans on Twitter have been shit talking him. I want to fight them all.
Hagel, to me, in TB is exactly what I thought he would be:
a speedy team player who plays his heart out every shift. He fits in perfectly with the bottom-6 in TB but is nowhere close to a 20 percent shooting percentage player. The trade was a good one for both teams.

Panarin 3 goals 5 on 5 in 20 playoff games.

Not good
This is no surprise. After his particularly poor play in earlier rounds, Panarin played a bit better against TB but his playoff performance in the '22 playoffs is par for the course. I'm sure his defenders will think of something to sugar-coat him being a non-factor again at crunch time (as they have done in the past).

He had 16 points in 20 games. He was fine. Wasnt the game wrecker he usually is.

Im not sure how you determine "empty points". I agree he wasnt great. Just good.

He wasn’t good. He was one dimensional and his one dimension wasn’t even that great. I’m surprised he managed to put up as many points as he did despite his play being so lackluster.

He wasn't good. HIs turnovers were way more detrimental to the Rangers than how beneficial his assists were.
Of course, his OT goal vs PIT was the outlier here.

I chose to root for NYR in the East once the Leafs were done. So I broke down each of the games. He was rough and really just aggravating to watch.

And a lot of those assists came on Zibanejad one time blasts on the PP.

Bread just absolutely refused to shoot the puck when he had plenty of chances to do so

Wouldn't shoot the puck, wouldn't move his feet. Terrible effort.

Ya, like I said, the Johnson trade was the only trade Stan got right. Shouldn't have made the Jones deal, and shouldn't have made the Fleury trade. If he makes neither trade, we get a top 5 pick, easily.

We got a second round pick for MAF for nothing but money that isn’t ours. How you’re spinning that into a bad trade is. 🤯

I mean, we could have got a pick for taking on Fleury to begin with. Took on 7mil in cap because our GM thought we were going to be competitive.

Yet what he should have done, was not trade for Jones, not trade for Fleury, and tanked the season. Hence, the TJ trade was only one he got right.
