Extrapolated to 77 games that’s 86 points, so basically about the same as the record when he doesn’t play 22 minutes.

12-9-5 = .557 = 91 pts pace
28-18-5=.598 = 98 pts pace

Probably more accounting for the difference than Kopitar's raw minutes--i.e. what causes that etc.--but i'm not sure 'points' is the metric we're going for anyway (ie how the team does when koptiar gets more minutes is interesting but I'm watching Kopitar's slow death on the ice and his defensive numbers as previously noted and those are, flat out, a problem).

I know I know winning cures everything, back to your positivity

I like how being critical of the team is being negative lol. Kings are lucky to be this place in the standings. You have to be on crack to not realize how much this team lucked it’s way to this spot. Only winning against the East is pretty much pointless. Losing to the west convincingly often, or BARELY scraping one or two points against our own division.

The standings are flawed when you think about where they got the points from. Second, The lines and time distribution are extremely bad. Todd has been a shit coach this year. No denying it. And if you disagree then you got daddy issues

Personally, I think your season has been successful, but I don't think it's sustainable and that could be some of the issues that other Kings fans are having, but it's not my place to say so I'll leave it at that.

What I do want to say is that I would be careful about envoking our opinions in your defense, we have one of the most toxic and worst fanbases on this entire site. Additionally, you REALLY don't wanna read what EDM fans think of Tmac, because the majority hate his guts and I am very happy to have a real NHL powerplay now that he's moved on.

Oh wow. An oil fan going against our resident contrarian. That’s our issue with Todd the Fraud. Kings have pretty much gotten by by beating the eastern conference teams and nothing else.

His line management and time distribution is atrocious. Kings don’t seem to wake up to meaningful games more often than we think is reasonable. The powerplay is so f***ing bad and the PK is pretty trash too. They play 1-3-1 too much.

If you look at the Kings I don’t know if you’d exactly call them a success story.

Kopitar is regressing hard but still playing a lot so you can bet the hard regression and boatload of ice time plays into it.

Danault has been a great pick up
Arvidsson has been awesome.

Only reason the Kings are here because Blake made good pick ups and luck against the east.

This team is extremely lucky to be here.
Todd is ruining the rookies and star development sucks on an organizational level for forwards.

So the whole idea the Kings have gotten here because of Todd is complete nonsense. You can make the argument easily that they could have gotten further if it wasn’t for him

As a matter of fact can you give a brief summary of what oilers fans had an issue with him about. I want to see if it’s just our “negative” fan base or these issues were prevalent to you guys as well
