Seems like more Elvis drama
What else could he mean by "something has happened" but he's not getting into it. Especially carrying all 3 now. Can't be good. Unless it's just a kick in the ass to Elvis and Tarry. We'll find out soon probably.Tarasov has played twice in the last month. Clearly no trust there. We don’t know what kind of discussions go on in the organization.
Could be anything so I’m not making assumptions because you what happens when you assume.
with all the busy schedule coming up its a call up cause tarry is unplayableWhat else could he mean by "something has happened" but he's not getting into it. Especially carrying all 3 now. Can't be good. Unless it's just a kick in the ass to Elvis and Tarry. We'll find out soon probably.
a coach can bench a player when hes not playing well? but you dont think he should bench a goalie? weird take.It amazes me how it is always everyone else's fault because Elvis doesn't play well. He was outplayed by his backups the past two seasons behind the same team. Maybe we should go get another goalie coach for him. Why should the head coach be protecting him? He is getting paid to be the no. 1 goalie.
The Bruins didn't yank Swayman last night while he was giving up eight goals, and they also have a backup that is outplaying him by quite a bit.

you dont give the guy credit when he plays well and you cry when he has a bad game. a new goalie doesn't fix this dog sh*t team
Well Tarasov has played twice in a month and is getting passed over for a start. What else could he mean by "something has happened" but he's not getting into it. Especially carrying all 3 now. Can't be good. Unless it's just a kick in the ass to Elvis and Tarry. We'll find out soon probably.
sorry i dont mean you! i just mean our fans right now, i dont think Elvis deserves to be the whipping boy.Not sure where I said a coach can or can't bench a goalie. As far as giving Elvis credit, I have when he has a good game. I said nothing about him being the reason we lost last night. In fact, I don't think defense or goaltending played as big a part in losing last night as the lack of offense did. They couldn't generate squat, and couldn't answer back until late 2nd period.
I pretty much stay out of the game threads so not sure when I am crying about Elvis. I have pretty much held the same opinion of him since he's been here. Not as great as people think, but not as bad either. I see him as slightly below average.
I do wonder how it is whenever he is bad, it's the guys in front of him, but when any one of our other goalies are bad, its because they suck and has nothing to do with the players in front of them.
No problem.sorry i dont mean you! i just mean our fans right now, i dont think Elvis deserves to be the whipping boy.
i do enjoy your thoughts and you bring alot of great stuff to this board.
Not disagreeing with your post, but part of Elvis' beef last year was that he was a No 1 goalie. Playing a lot of games comes with that so he needs to figure out a way to play better carrying a heavy workload if he wants to be considered a No 1. If he can't, then he is just another guy.Well Tarasov has played twice in a month and is getting passed over for a start.
Maybe they both need a kick in the ass but Elvis could also use a rest in addition because his play has suffered the more he has played over the last week. Elvis has played 12 games to Tarasov’s 2 over the last month.
In average yes. But a 12-2 split over the last 30 days is more than most goalies go these days. Nobody is out there starting 70 games a season any longer like Martin Brodeur used to.Not disagreeing with your post, but part of Elvis' beef last year was that he was a No 1 goalie. As it is now, based on the percentage of games he has played this year, it would put him around 55 GP. That's a lower workload for a No 1.
