Muzzin didn’t trust Holl so he was worried about Mcdavid beating him wide...but bad read on his part. Secondly not a forward in sight to back check and help.

Soup overplayed his angle on mcdavid there’s no reason his feet should have been out of the crease from that angle - you cut off the angle even if your feet are in the blue - which is why he had no chance to get back for the drais shot.
