Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Very cool! Would definitely like to travel on the Indian Pacific one day. It covers some very remote, starkly beautiful country and the train itself looks like great fun.

update. I just heard there is a hydrogen leak and engine issues. Sounds like it is a no go due to an older engine. Next "window" is Friday

It isn't looking good for a launch- engine #3 isn't cooling down as it should, engineers are trying to figure out why & if they can fix it in time to launch today, they have about 90 minutes until the launch window closes. Sooooooooo close...

They have called a scrub for today, supposedly an engine bleed. No problem, such is rocketry.
No launch today

Massive letdown for all the folks who came down for the launch though. I'm pretty disappointed too, it's been such a long wait.

big celebration night this evening for my father in law and step mother in law, his brother has arranged a big 50 Year Anniversary celebration which will take place at the Ukrainian Community Center here. No gifts for the happy couple, only donations made to aid local chapter of Ukrainian`s who were forced to leave their country due to the war, with a few of them doing all the cooking this evening
They think we are picking them up for a simple, low key dinner, 2 of his 3 brothers coming in, one from Alberta, the other Kelowna, should be a doozie

Went to Disney World for the first time at the ripe old age of 52 in 2017. Our group was a mixture of my immediate family and their kids. That was the ride we got up early to go on for the second time. The only one who skipped the second ride was my 61 year old sister, who was screaming "I'm going to die!" on the first go around.

I actually like simulator rides, more than roller coasters, I assume because my brain understands I'm not physically on a rail halfway to the moon lol.

Avatar Flight of Passage is the first simulator ride where I truly thought I wasn't in a simulator. It's that good. Right down to the little things; like the banshee breathing between your legs, and the wings blowing little puffs of air on the backs of your ears.

yeah really looking forward to it, day is almost done then it`s off to help decorate, about 30 family and friends have been on the Island camping literally 15 minutes from my father in law`s house for 4 days and he isn`t the wiser. He tends to be an emotional dude so this one will get him in the feels

I`ll do my best and I`m feeling ok, the oncologist has just stepped up one of my medications to hopefully shrink the masses a bit more, really trying to avoid any radiation, I do have some missing clumps of hair from my melon but if that`s the worst thing that`s going on I count myself fortunate.
Food still has little taste too but down a few lbs to there`s that
