No this is the important part. To suggest that it's managements fault for assuming it would go up as all teams did is just silly.
The NHL has had multiple years where there were 0-3% increases (not including covid) that were likely less than inflation, and a few years as high as 7% to 14%. If you are suggesting that management isn't responsible for.. managing.. for this type of fluctuation in their plans, then that is just silly. But you do you.
