It’s sad that in a sense I’m almost giving up on this issue ever being fixed. Like obviously I want that fixed immediately. But if hasn’t been fixed by now…
I spend every morning with a knot in my stomach when I kiss my little girl goodbye and turn to leave her at daycare because I know there’s a growing number of parents in this country who did the same exact thing and never saw their kids again.

Honest to God, if the wife and I get enough money together, we may very well just leave. I’m so goddamned tired of mouth breathing fascists on one side and feckless cowards on the other. Those are my choices every election.

In the before times, the wife and I thought about expatriating when we retired. We had actually done a lot of research on Mexico and Belize but the more we looked into it, Slovakia (Bratislava) was really starting to pique our interest. But this was also before that madman in Russia decided to invade other countries.

Yeah, this region of the world has its own problems...

I took my 6 year old daughter to it yesterday. She's never played Mario but she enjoyed it. I agree it was fun.
I nearly wrecked my Dad’s car dragging him to see the original when I was a young teen. He was so irritated with me after it was over. Just looked at me and said “So was that worth it?”

Anyone gonna see the Indiana Jones movie?
Unfortunately. I remember begging and pleading with mom to allow me to go see the original in the theater when I was like 9, 10 years old? That 10 year old boy in me is going to be dragging my 50 year old ass to the theater whether I want to or not.

I expect I'll be paying $20 to watch Kathleen Kennedy take another giant shit on my childhood.

Anybody here ever deal with or know someone who dealt with hypospadias?

My son was born with it and it's eating me up inside whether I give the go-ahead for surgery or not.

While I don't claim to have any kind of authority on the issue, I would encourage corrective procedures on congenital anomalies that have established surgical treatments specifically on newborn children (like cleft lip, or even a cochlear implant).

The treatment can help with urinary and sexual health, as well as mental health. In the end, I would advise going with your medical professional's best judgement.

This. I have a friend whose son (I believe) had this, he's never gone into detail--and that's fine, it ain't none of my business--but I'm pretty sure that's what it was. Had a corrective procedure done when he was really young and he's been fine ever since.

Twitter is about to finally crash and burn, I think. I saw this today, Wyoming Dept of Transportation is pulling their handles. I can't imagine small state/county/municipalities all across the US won't be doing the same WYDOT to remove eight Twitter accounts due to API policy changes, fees - County 10™

Also, I had my Twitter 'anniversary' a week or so ago, now I apparently have a permanent notification, it will not go away  it's so glitchy anyway, ad riddled with worse ads than before... anyway, end of an era coming lol

If anyone can ruin something and somehow still have an army of sycophants praise him, it's E-Lawn Moosk.

Dune was a bloody good movie. It had a ton of Chronicles of Riddick feel to it but with an actual story with well-done and in-depth undertones of religion and political strife mixed in. Too many Sci-Fi's are all about constant brainless action and I liked that there was something that decided to go against the grain and put some good character development that isn't just Bruce Willis playing a Cop in the year 2159. I really want to read the book now, but I did a quick search at my local book store and there were like ten different books that I didn't know where to start. E: People probably won't like it because it will be "too slow" in this ADHD world.
