It’s probably nice to have the option of a truck bed for some people…..but yeah it becomes a status symbol, too.

I’m more of a Toyota Tacoma kind of guy. Good utility, less footprint.
I love tacos and toyotas in general. I mean, I ran my 02' Sequoia to over 245k miles before having to move on last month. The engine on that thing was still kicking no problem, having the timing belt on its last leg and needing a front end rebuild at the same time killed it.

I'd have much preferred a tacoma but anything sub 75k miles was going for MSRP+, so I had to look elsewhere. The new Ford ranger was an interesting truck, but the 6' bed version is rare and I need that since I'm a tall guy for camping purposes. The f150 is a big ass vehicle but I got way more truck for the price going 1/2 ton over the midsized versions in this current market.

For the price, I don't really understand midsize trucks. You can basically get any full size for similar prices and get a whole heck of a lot more utility without much difference in fuel costs. I get midsize trucks for their size, especially if offroading and camping out of them.

I don't even have jelly.
Ketchup works in a pinch.

I have a newfound respect for hockey players. Took a stick to the mouth last night in my season opener and then literally minutes later took a slapshot to the face and got a huge gash on my cheek underneath my eye.

The next few days should be fun.
Dude! Take care man, hope you heal quickly.
Also... that sounds like the most boomer way to describe a smart home.

My dream is a couple hundred acres of land in the mountains that has a tiny cabin with a view. I don't want to see another person from it either.... one day.
One of the reasons I love living in Alaska. I do believe it is inherit in every man's nature to yearn to live in a place where he can take a piss of his back deck and have nobody in view to object.

I think the only thing I'd hate about living in Alaska is the winter... just a bit too brutal for me.

I had a ‘98 Taco raised 2 and 1/2 inches, 32” (actually might have been 31’s I can’t remember) tires on it and an ARE cap on the back. It was a camping machine, I had 2 egg shell foam mattresses doubled up and cut out to accommodate the wheel wells. All I had to do was throw a sleeping bag and pillow in the back and I had a campsite. I loved that thing.

Then I moved down to the SE and they use salt on the roads and it took two years until the frame rusted through . I miss that thing.

I can actually do that. It’s not the worst thing, tbh.

I don’t know what rock I’ve been living under but Kanye West is pretty talented. Listening to My Dark Twisted Fantasy at the moment. Never really listened to him before except for the mega hits.

That’s the last album of his I really liked. But every album up to then is genuinely impressive music. He’s lost his mind a bit, but he at least was genuinely impressive rapper/producer.

Yeah I’m not going to vouch for his recent personal life, but it’s hard to argue he’s not pretty talented.

I thought Yeezus was pretty great, but anything Life of Pablo on has been pretty meh. Kanye is a big POS, but I don't think you can deny his early albums are some of the best rap albums ever made.

I can't stand Kanye, when I was Uber driving and the college kids would take the aux cord, I always dreaded them putting his stuff on. Pompous, self indulgent garbage. I can appreciate rap if it's good, but Kanye is like sandpaper in my brain with how shallow and egotistical it is. Some of the worst music I've ever heard.

His new stuff I can understand. But his old stuff is genuinely incredible.
