Think I might give Rage 2 a shot even if the first one wasn't great. Should read more on it before I do. Anyone play it? I don't have it in me for another D3 season. I just don't care anymore. Currently replaying BL2 with a buddy in coop and eagerly awaiting BL3 and some other titles, both PC and PS4.

I love huge open world games with interesting lore and/or story lines. TW3, GTAV, RDR2, Mass Effect. Those have been my faves, along with Skyrim and New Vegas (even with the jank!) Considering giving DA:I another shot as well.

Otherwise I'm due for some new ARPG goodness and a few are releasing soon enough so that could be fun. Torchlight Frontiers, Warhammer: Chaosbane etc.

I also love doing EA NHL Franchise even with all it's faults but I'm not buying another until I see what they can do on PS5, otherwise I'm paying $92 (Quebec) for some menu changes and a roster update.

The FFVII delay isn't surprising, nor is the fact it's episodic and will likely be $60~ CAD per. They're going to milk this one hard. I'll likely wait it out until they release some all-in-one version.

I wish I could get into FF6 the way apparently everyone else has. The game never drew me in despite trying it about 5 separate times. Maybe 6th time will be a charm.

It’s cool. Not to everyone’s liking. I am probably in the rarity of loving FF 12 even with the whole new battle system.

Anyone PC players looking to squad up in BFV? Been out of PC gaming for quite a bit.. God, how I missed it. Playing Battlefield on the consoles just isn't the same. I've been completely consumed by BFV. I think it has some of the best moment to moment gunplay I've ever experienced in a FPS. It's a little light on content right now in terms of maps (9). But they'll be adding one more in at the end of May with more to follow in the next several months.

I told you, SE’s word means less than a six year old’s. They’re an atrocious company.

What a bummer.

November 2020.

Juicy PS5 and Xbox Two info to be presented at E3 2019 product showcase

PlayStation gamers currently look set to receive the PS5 in November 2020, so some more information about the console's AMD hardware, which was reportedly in part leaked recently by an insider who infiltrated an official Sony meeting, would be a welcome boon, and especially so in light of Sony itself not officially attending E3 this year.

Combine that with SE pushing back their big revenue increase to FQ3 of next year...

What better way to sell games/consoles than do a PS5 launch bundle with FF7 remake.

Yup. I had a post written up and deleted it cuz I wasn't entirely sure if I was interpreting those fiscal year graphs correctly. But every year since the Playstation's inception, the next console has come out basically 6 years after the previous. PS1 released 1994, 2 in 2000, 3 in 2006, 4 in 2013. If they're going to try extending future generation's lifespans to 7 years, 2020 would be right on track.

Everything I've seen has a late 2020 release for the PS5, and having FF7RM be a release title is the move to sell units and bundles for the holidays than with FF7RM. This latest trailer serves to drum up anticipation and excitement, and had people going nuts the second it dropped.

PS4 is already a resounding success compared to Xbox, and if they keep in line with the next gen releases there's no way they'll "waste" a title like this on the soon-to-be old generation.

Sony's big reveal at E3 will be the PS5 specs and release date. They'll probably have live gameplay of the first reactor/boss fight too. Remember when companies released game demos to the public? Those were the days..

Game demos were the best...until you finished them in 10 minutes and were starved for more and had to wait a whole 6-12 months for the final product. It would be 3-5 years from the demo to release nowadays.

Using a small club in FIFA is next to impossible.

Expectations Year 1:

-Use 10 academy players
-Qualify for Europe

Expectations Year 2:

-Win the league
-Win the Champions league
-Win the domestic cup
-Solve the climate crisis
-Do all of that while still using primarily academy players

By year 2 or 3, these teams that literally don't have a trophy in their history expect you to win the treble, but they don't relax their expectations on youth development at all.

Star Ocean remake-of-a-remake coming to Switch and PS4

Do you know if anything from the new FromSoft game got shown? I saw the title leaked yesterday but that’s about it

Edit: nevermind, i literately just found some sort of trailer
Accurate description of my thought process during the reveal

It was a new CP2077 trailer and then Keanu walks onto the stage and hypes the hell out of the crowd. His reveal in the trailer/game was completely unexpected and hype af.

That’s sooo awesome.

I feel like it's just a matter of time until some huge gaming company/studio/whatever makes essentially a playable movie with high profile actors.

Kojimi’s new game has a bunch of actors in it, and the the credits he’s put into the trailer are formatted like it’s a movie, so it might be even closer than you think

Apparently there was a leaked article (that has since been taken down) saying that the FF7 remake will be out this winter Q4-2019/Q1-2020

That CyberPunk2077 trailer was breathtaking! I'm blown away. Also thinking its time to make the move to Sony as they have much better exclusives now where IDK it feels like Xbox has become completely stale and is severely lacking in that department. Should I get a ps4 now or just wait until next year? I've been dying to play God Of War.

Trailer is supposed to drop tonight too.
I saw there was some sort of concert going on, and that made me start digging through twitter for any real info. I saw something that said the release date will probably be announced at the end of the concert alongside some of the most comprehensive footage released to this date
