Is that Mike Smith in net for Edmonton? Lol! What a terrible misplay with the puck.

Absolutely unbelievable. The Leafs are so lucky that Florida won. It seems this is Toronto’s destiny year.
I think either was a bad match for Toronto, they both attack quickly and that's a major weakness for Leaf's D. Selfishly I would much rather lose to the Panthers than the Bruins even if it means watching Tkachuk's antics for a week.

Boston has a very old team and the worst prospect pool. Long rebuild is near.

And a 4.5 million cap penalty next season for bonus overages this season. Not to mention Bergeron, Krecji, Bertuzzi, Orlov and Clifton are UFA. Frederic and Swayman are RFA. And they’ve still got another year of Mike Reilly at 3aav in the AHL.

Would the Bruins trade us Swayman (Knight got 4.5aav so Swayman will too) and Reilly (3aav in the AHL) for Vejmelka with max retention (1.375aav)? Leaves them with an equally strong tandem the next two seasons (they can’t be thinking longer term than that) and gives us a goalie of the future, without sacrificing any picks/prospects.

I'd trade them the rights to Ingram.
