I liked Winnik too but he bounced around a lot because he always went to the highest bidder. Here was the only team he played 3 years in a row for. Changed teams 9 times in his 14 seasons. I knew it was a lot but had to look that up. Was surprised it was that many times.
Don’t know if I can fault him for going to highest bidder. In fact, it makes more sense (to me) than a higher paid player.

I'll double down on the Jinx.....given their lack of playoff success in the McDavid era, not sure why anyone would predict the Oilers to win a playoff series.
I did.:) They have been the better team all series. They will beat LA.

I agree. Players like Winnik don't make the big bucks, so they have to go where the money is.

I have no idea so far if either team is good or bad?
Alright so this might get proven incorrect going forward but I don't think either of these teams are very good and Boston will win next series in 3 games. So many defensive weaknesses for both.

I had never seen him play before but I now understand why teams were trying to get Knies out of Toronto. He's probably not gonna be a star but he has that thing where good things happen when he's on the ice.

Good on the Leafs that fanbase deserves something good to happen to them. What insanity tho.

One more game let's see what happens

EDIT: Sorry @Summer Rose I know you live out there but TB has been pretty good the past few years (and still may be this year as well)

About to be one less with Makar facing suspension today.
I picked TO over Tampa, and I had a feeling Colorado would have a tough time repeating because of injuries during the year, but also they just were not playing like a SC team.

AM is showing up. 7 pts in 4 games. Can the Leafs close the deal?

Will Makar get suspended? I think he should.

Absolutely. I had the Leafs in six but I bet it's over in five. I'm also not one of those people saying the Bruins are going to stomp on the Leafs. This is a different team and they're built for the playoffs compared to previous years.
