For those not getting the joke, the draft has been 7 rounds since 2005 -- also just looked it up and Mark Streit was also drafted in the 9th round that year, and also Pekka Rinne with the last pick in the 8th round as well (!). 2004 great year for a few teams getting absolute steals with picks that don't even exist anymore

Martinook is one of those players you use up until he needs a new deal. Then he becomes too expensive for his role.

I liked Winnik too but he bounced around a lot because he always went to the highest bidder. Here was the only team he played 3 years in a row for. Changed teams 9 times in his 14 seasons. I knew it was a lot but had to look that up. Was surprised it was that many times.

I'll double down on the Jinx.....given their lack of playoff success in the McDavid era, not sure why anyone would predict the Oilers to win a playoff series.

It certainly wasn't a penalty for Oiler's 3rd goal but that's par for the playoffs this season.
