Dallas has not had great goaltending. Doesn't bode well down the stretch. The Bob has been crazy good, but hey look, Andersen has been better. However, up 3-0, I don't see Florida not advancing.

Playoff hockey. I've always liked Benn but like... Jeeeeeeezus wtf is he doing. Complete nonsense.

Deserves to be suspended for a game or two. Rest of the year given how VGK is playing. But also...

This is a reason why just looking at stats (even advanced stats) doesn't necessarily tell the whole story. Andersen's been good but Bob has been otherworldly for most of this playoffs. Nevermind what he's been able to do the past few years (not much, esp considering that contract), but this year's playoffs... holy f***.

You (and most ppl here I'd imagine) know I'm a fmr goalie and what Bob has been doing these past two series... I mean my God. He's been so, so, so good, just doing everything right. FLA is most likely going to beat BOS, TOR, CAR (all much better teams), TOR / CAR wins don't happen if FLA had a goalie who wasn't playing like he's from another planet.

Put another way, statswise Freddie's been good, but CAR is most likely getting swept, maybe they win a game or two but most likely not advancing despite a much more complete team on paper. In no small part because of Bob. He's been well overpaid for most of his contract... but not this playoffs. Let's see what happens when he (and the Panthers) play Vegas in the finals

Hockey is a game of physicality coupled with intimidation, and that’s ok. But Benns cross check was in this case cowardly, stupid and deserving of more than a game misconduct. I hope he gets a 10-20 game suspension. Dirty player. Dishonors the game.
