Thanks! Hadn't heard it yet. The real burning question though, who did you put on the playlist? :P

Siouxsie, Tones on Tail and Bauhaus and Love & Rockets, Joy Division, plus some post-punk like Wire, Gang of Four, and Killing Joke.

She's inquisitive about tunes. I sent her the KEXP for Lol and Budgie from a few weeks ago that they did back in July - she was entertained. I'm amused by this.

Buffalo Sabres

‘Bored of Being Sad’ by Microwave

Again, I had to go off the map to grab this one from a really good new emo band from Atlanta, but this feels like it was written for Sabres fans. I could have Buffalo at the “most emo” end of the preview every year, but this one feels different. Maybe the Sabres’ media cheerleaders have finally given up after 13 years of hoping the team really makes it happen; maybe Buffalo fans just don’t get their hopes up anymore. So, without any unfounded hype, could this be the year? Eh, probably not, but no expectations are better than whatever’s been happening the last few years.

“And I’m so bored of being sad
It’s not cool anymore
It’s old and I’m bored”

Great selection. I don't even think I know Tones on Tail I'll have to check them out as well. :)

So Our Lady Peace and Collective Soul are doing a Canada tour in March, and I have a chance to get pre-sale tickets that are half price. So I go to the link to buy them. Of course, I need to put in a special code to get them half off. And of course, the website doesn’t let me buy them because they’re not on sale until tomorrow.

Then what is the purpose of a one day pre-sale if I can’t buy them until tomorrow and the code is no longer valid?

Keep checking. It might be a glitch that they fix or they actually let you purchase them tomorrow. Hopefully. You could try DMing ticketmaster or the venue on social media to see if someone escalates the issue on the back end. A buddy wants to see Collective Soul but it's over an hour away and I'm the driver so I don't want to commit in case of a snow storm. More than likely the weather will be fine and tickets will be available so we will end up going.

He's more concerned about Oasis anyways so if we get lucky with those tickets tomorrow then maybe potentially not seeing Collective Soul will be less disappointing.

A song that somehow fits the current situation of the sabres, I can't unhear it since I played "the stick of truth" and yes I went to canada.

Ok Spotify, what the actual f*** is “Industrial Punk” and why are you saying that it’s one of my favourite genres?

Wouldn't that be Al Jourgensen influenced stuff that took Body Music/Industrial and put punk-ish guitar riffs into it?

Thinking something like this -
