This is such a shameful thread.

Making fun of people over something they have no control of is deplorable.

Nah. They control how bad it'll look like. I'm from a bald family, I KNEW my day would come. I promised myself that the day we would see too much skin on my head, I'd shave the whole thing. I never wanted to look like these guys, grasping to every inches of hair or worse, combing to cover it up.

And I did shave, as promised. It was rough. I was kind of depressed for a week. But at least, I don't look pathetic trying to cover something that, as you said, I have no control over.

As a bald guy, I can say that this thread is not offensive. Keep 'em coming guys!

To you, but maybe not other guys with pattern baldness. These guys shouldn’t be shamed for trying to keep what little hair they have.

What’s next? Making fun/ shaming somebody over their skin color?

Ah COME ON, it has NOTHING to do with that, what a dishonest comparaison!

I fancy myself being a progressive person and a comment like yours make us look like idiots.

Are you bald? Because this discussion could get way more interesting.

If you are not, you'd remind me of my white friend explaining to my black friend was systemic racism is (see how stupid it sounds?).

Too bad players have to wear helmets now, or we could see some hair challenged players go the head-band-in-game route, like some guys pulled off in the 70s:

Actually, it’s similar.

You shaming those who have no control over their appearance.

It’s either all bad, or all ok to do.

As someone who is losing it, this thread offends me :(

Probably going to have to shave sometime this year.
I'm getting male pattern baldness thinning and when I get stressed I notice that my scalp literally feels sore and tight and sometimes has a numbing sensation. Don't give up, bro. Massage that shit every day. We got this. Bro science.

Ya except they do have control over their appearance. They can shave it off that is the whole point bro. If you don't know the difference between that, and making fun of someone because of the colour of their skin then you are more of a problem then anyone.

Sorry people. Bad thread. This is body shaming, regardless if you’re willing to admit it. Large people can arguably control their size, yet we don’t go there. So why is this ok? Mods, this is truly shameful to keep this thread active.

what a weird dude- he didn’t just buzz it, he went shiny for much of his career if I remember right. Who the f*** thinks “when I play- no hockey hair. When I coach- that is when we grow it out.” I’m simply fascinated by this dude’s psyche.

To be fair he totally transformed himself. Used to be a lazy ass party boy with a head too big in every sense. Sobered up and changed his diet and turned into your ultimate consummate pro and went to play 1200+ games in the NHL. Now having his eye on a head coaching career in the NHL and I bet he's going to make it.

I'm surprised with all the money these guys make they don't just get hair plugs?

there could be a nasty side effect and there are some bad results, especially if they are doing it too young.

Trust me, I’ve done my research on this.

the most important thing is that these guys don’t give a damn If they are balding or bald or whatever.

Have some tea. Relax. Enjoy life. Auston Matthews does. Although I am not sure about the tea.
