Speculation: The 2026-27 Roster Speculation Thread: Summer Edition - Throw in All The Oars, We're Trading for Battleships

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
Duane who had the KA firing news from someone a while back says he has heard Quinn might be the next guy going

see about 6:00

some more rumors from Duane's source here( I time stamped the video below).

Says San Jose, Columbus, Nashville are teams to watch

20 & Quinn to try and get a center

4 and Norris for something else

I’ve been on the trade Quinn now train for a while. Potted his 20. Worked hard down the stretch and into the playoffs. But I don’t want to give him his next contract and Kulich or Helenius slide right into his spot cheaper and with more upside.

Sounds like a Tuch sign and trade is coming next. Given the late hour i would speculate Seattle.

Tuch, Levi for wright, koko, and Evans F it im done expecting reasonable trades

Highly unlikely and maybe unnecessary, but what would it take to swap picks with the Sharks to get Stenberg? Would something like Quinn be enough? Is that too much? Tough for me to gauge.

Again, my valuation meter apparently needs a factory reset. BUT.......

I wouldn't think that's enough. I think the Sharks are in love with Stenberg. And it makes sense -- the Sharks have their centers of the future. A possibly-elite-level winger would be a perfect match with Macklin or Misa.

I'm fine sitting right at 4 OA and taking whichever of Malhotra or Bjorck that Vancouver doesn't. Get our own possible 1C with what is ostensibly our last good shot to do so.
