I don’t see how Kasper and Edvinsson looks like studs. They look ok. And yes, as good as Seider is (though he took a step back last year), still would have way rather had Zegras
How can you say Ed and kaspar just look okay. Come on man

This kid seems like he could become a Dylan Larkin clone.
That kid is still available, that's Oliver Moore. Danielson does not have anywhere near as high of a ceiling as Larkin. Best case scenario, and I mean absolute best case, Danielson becomes a 2c who puts up 60 points. In all likelihood, he's a hard-wokrking, penalty-killing, solid 3C who could put up 35-40 points.

As someone who still believes we should have taken Conner Bleackley over Dylan Larkin, I FEEL you on this.

The ‘no help’ and ‘team sucked’ narrative is just an excuse.

Cristall, Honzek and Barlow all played with nobody and still out produced Danielson and are younger. Danielson projects as a defensive centre more so than a two way Center. This is his last season of eligibility in the WHL because he is a 2004 birth.

The kid failed to produce and that is the bottom line. It’s junior hockey Only 4 kids in the last 10 years have been taken top 15 with such a poor offensive production profile in his aged 18 year season in CHL. Every single one of them has failed to score at the NHL level.
He would be breaking historical norms if he actually does score.
