Does Edvinsson have the brain though
That does not describe Jonathan Ericsson at all....That about sums him up. His scouting reports pointed out that he has poor 60 minute focus, weak play away from the puck, a weak shot, and suspect positioning.
I am not a fan of this pick.
TwinsiesEdvinsson and Wallinder - Anyone want to briefly compare and contrast upsides?
Lame.
Worth noting those charts are 100% about point production. They can tell you nothing about a player's overall game and even Seider has something like 15% chance of being a star in a chart like that.yepppp. This is Rasmussen 2.0 for me.
I was big on Seider because of the IQ, btw. I'm low on Edvinsson because of the IQ, but in a different direction. Let's hope he develops well, he has high upside and showed signs of decent IQ sometimes, but I'm not big on the pick at all. I do like the Frolunda connections with Raymond and Niederbach, potentially nice chemistry there.
then svechkov's percentage must be like -15%Worth noting those charts are 100% about point production. They can tell you nothing about a player's overall game and even Seider has something like 15% chance of being a star in a chart like that.
We gotta give Edvinsson the chance.
SameThis. Edvinsson is so, so high risk with his questionable-at-best IQ. Hopefully Yzerman & Co have identified that it ultimately won't be a problem, but boy. This pick has the chance to completely negate the benefit that was the Seider pick. This one is ugly today, on the surface. Hopefully the kid proves me wrong, I'll be rooting for him.
